How to put up a bounty
Post a bounty or job in minutes
Create Listing
Post a bounty or job in minutes. AI writes it, you refine it, builders apply.
What it is
The Create Listing flow lets you post bounties (one-time tasks with prizes) or jobs (longer-term work) to First Dollar's talent network. An AI assistant drafts your listing from a simple prompt—you edit, configure the prize, and publish.
Why it matters
Skip the blank-page problem. Describe what you need in plain English, and First Dollar generates a complete brief with scope, deliverables, and judging criteria. You get quality submissions without spending an hour writing a job post.
The Full Flow
Step 1: Start from Your Dashboard
From your dashboard at app.firstdollar.money, click Create Listing → in the top nav.
Your dashboard shows your remaining balance, total listings, and recent activity. You can also manage existing bounties and jobs from the Your Listings table—filter by status (Draft, Ongoing, Pending Approval, Completed) and track submissions.

Step 2: Choose Your Listing Type
Pick what you're posting:
| Type | Best for | How it works |
|---|---|---|
| Host a Bounty | One-time tasks, UGC campaigns, design contests | Reward outcomes. Pay winners transparently on delivery. |
| Put out a Job Listing | Longer-term or scoped work | Post a job, review applications, manage everything in one place. |
Click Continue on your choice.

Step 3: Describe Your Task (AI-Assisted)
You'll see: "Hey gm, [Name], what do you wanna publish today?"
Type a brief description of what you need. Keep it simple—the AI will expand it.
Example prompts:
- "Create a twitter thread bounty"
- "Create a UX Review bounty"
- "Create a Product Feedback bounty"
Use the dropdown to toggle between BOUNTY and JOB if needed, then hit send.

Step 4: Review the AI-Generated Brief
The AI generates a full bounty description including:
- Overview — What the bounty is about
- Mission — The goal and context
- Scope Detail — Specific requirements and deliverables
- Content Guidelines — Tone, style, quality expectations
- Visual Elements — Image/graphic requirements
- Submission Requirements — File formats, what to include
- Deliverables — Exact outputs expected
- Judging Criteria — How submissions will be evaluated
Not happy with the draft? Click Regenerate for a new version, or use the chat input to refine it with follow-up instructions.
When it looks good, click Proceed and Edit.

Step 7: Publish

Tips
- Be specific in your prompt — "Twitter thread about our Q4 achievements for the Based India community" beats "write something about us"
- Set realistic deadlines — Most quality bounties run 1-2 weeks
- Use the screening questions — Filter out low-effort applications early
- Check your balance — Make sure you have enough funds deposited to cover the prize pool
- Preview before publishing — Catch typos and formatting issues
